Detailed 10 days Tanzania safari

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Arusha National park

Upon arriving in Tanzania, you will be met by our guide/driver who will brief you about this trip and what you need to expect. You will then embark on a trip to Arusha National Park with parked picnic lunch and enjoy full day of game viewing in the Home for black and white colobus monkey and beauty of birds and scenic view Mt Kilimanjaro and Mt Meru.

Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park

Early breakfast, check out of your hotel and depart for Tarangire National Park with parked picnic lunch and enjoy full day of game viewing. Tarangire is popularly known to be home to large herds of elephants and mini migrations like the wildebeest migration. On your game drive in the national park, you will come across other wildlife species like the zebras, gazelles, lions, buffaloes, several species of birds, elands, impalas, hyenas, cheetah among others.

Day 3: full day Tarangire National Park

After your early morning breakfast, you will depart for a game drive in Tarangire National Park with packed lunch and enjoy full day of game viewing in the park. While here you will continue some of the wildlife species you spotted the previous day and other new species such as Lesser kudu, gerenuk, tree climbing python etc. Baobab trees are scattered everywhere in the park and you will also enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding hills and mountains while on your game drive.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

Early morning breakfast, check out of your lodge and head to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive that introduces to wildlife species like the tree climbing Lions, Hippos, Elephants, Zebras, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Baboon, Blue and Vervet monkey. You will have a picnic lunch and proceed for an evening game drive as well. Return to your lodge for dinner and rest.

Overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House

Day 5: Transfer to Serengeti via Ngorongoro crater

After your breakfast, depart to Tanzania’s most visited and popular destination – Serengeti National Park through Olduvai Gorge that is found between the boundaries of the Serengeti plains and Ngorongoro conservation area. Olduvai Gorge is the prehistoric site where Dr. Louis Leakey discovered the remains of Homo habilis (“Handy man”) regarded as mankind’s first step on the path of human evolution. The great Serengeti Park this is famous home for lion, cheetah, and leopard. Elephant, herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles.

Day 6 and day 7- Serengeti Park

Optional early morning game drive or full day game drive spend three days in Serengeti Park with morning and afternoon game viewing. There’s so much you will discover within the country’s prime destination and this ranges from wildlife species to physical features.

Day 8: Drive to Ngorongoro conservation area

Early morning breakfast and you will head for a morning game drive as en route to Ngorongoro Conservation. Upon arrival in Ngorongoro, you will check in to your hotel for lunch and then relax at your lodge.

Day 9: Full day game drive in Ngorongoro conservation area

After an early morning Breakfast, depart with packed picnic lunch heading to Ngorongoro crater floor for both morning and evening game drives. Ngoro Ngoro Crater is one the largest intact caldera in the world and one of the most spectacular sights in the whole of Africa. All the big five animals (Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant) live in this wonderful caldera; others are Zebra, hippo, various species of birds and Wildebeest.

Day 10: Depart to Arusha

After your breakfast, you will go on a nature walk at Ngorongoro farm house before driving back to Arusha. On your arrival, have lunch at African Tulip. You will later be transferred to your lodge in Arusha or Kilimanjaro International airport to catch a flight back home or another destination of your choice.
