Detailed 3 days best of Tanzania safari

Day 1: Transfer to Tarangire National Park from Arusha

To be part of this 3 days best of Tanzania safari, you need to be arriving in Arusha in the early morning hours or already in Arusha. Our driver/guide will pick you from the airport or from your hotel in Arusha and brief you about the trip, your exclusions, inclusions and what you need to look forward to.

Upon reaching the park, you will go for a game drive that introduces you to the various wildlife species in this park that include herds of elephants, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, and also visit the poacher’s hide which is a popular baobab tree with a slightly hidden entrance.

You will also get to enjoy the spectacular views of the beautiful park and the surrounding. The game drives will go until evening with a small break for a picnic lunch.

In the evening, you will check in at your camp/lodge where a delicious dinner awaits you.

Day 2: Transfer to Ngorongoro crater

You will wake up early, have breakfast and our driver will transfer you to Ngorongoro crater – one of the best places to visit while in Tanzania. On arrival, you will descend into the crater and embark on a game drive that introduces you to the iconic views of the landscape, see the various wildlife species that inhabit this park that include gazelles, several species of birds, the big 5 animals (buffaloes, leopards, elephants, lions and rhinos). You will then have your picnic lunch at the crater floor then later proceed for a game drive to see more wildlife species.

Later in the evening, you will ascend the Crater Lake to go check in at your lodge, dinner and then rest.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park, game drive and return to Arusha

After your early morning breakfast, you will embark on a trip to Lake Manyara National Park popularly known to be home to the tree climbing lions that you will be able to see on your game drive. Other wildlife species that you will be able to see right in their natural habitat include; – giraffes, impalas, buffaloes, elephants, bush bucks, baboons, and a school of hippos around Lake Manyara plus aquatic birds like the flamingoes, grey crowned cranes, crowned plovers, fisher’s sparrow lark among others.

You will do a game drive until midday and then embark on a trip back to Arusha where upon arrival you will be dropped at the lodge/hotel of your choice or at the airport if you are flying out of the country.
